No, A Dustblocker could potentially reduce an Atex zone to non Atex by reducing the volume of dust in the air however to get to that point ducting would be required so the unit is outside of the Atex zone. We have supplied Dustblockers into the food industry where flour causes the Atex zone and not had any problems. keep in mind that the Dustblocker does not have a brushed motor which is normally the issue in a Vacuum because it can produce sparks.
